Baguio is a favorite weekend hideaway for people because of the weather, proximity, and easy access. The sceneries accentuated by the weather soothe the weary. It becomes zesty when the right spot to savor the aroma and taste of coffee and food is found.
The city center is a bit cluttered and so with the signature places. Urbanization has its cost. The breathers are in the peripheries of the city center. One of them is Arca’s Yard Cafe. It is a 10-15 minute drive from the city center along Ambuklao Road.
Arca’s Yard Café used to be a residential place that still strongly conveys that ambiance of warmth, hospitality, and sedate comfort. The interior evokes that traditional homey feeling of a lived house rather than a commercial spot. The weavings, carvings, and metals will pique the curiosity about the unique Igorot culture. The outside scene is a mountain range misted over by fog while part of its top is shaded by clouds.
Sit, feel, gaze, and savor the aroma and taste of black coffee tempered by carrot cake. You are made and happy.
