If you’re looking for a less crowded beach, white sand and just few hours ride and drive from Manila, then Cagbalete Island is the place to be. Just head to Mauban, Quezon and take a one-hour boat ride to Sabang Port, Cagbalete.  Everything in this underrated island is still affordable. 

2. Calaguas Island, Camarines Norte

Calaguas Group of Islands is a hidden treasure in the province of Camarines Norte. This island can be reached through a nine-hour bus ride or drive from Manila plus a one and a half boat ride from Vinzons, Paracale to Calaguas Island.  Be ready to experience Mother Nature at its best.

3. Caramoan Island, Camarines Sur

The survivor series paved way to more opportunities and visitors in Caramoan Island.  This popular island is located in a first class community in the lower eastern part of Camarines Sur, Bicol Region. There are different transportation options that you can take from Manila to reach this beautiful island. It is indeed a place to enjoy with your family and friends.

Coron Island is everyone’s favorite destination.  What makes this place more stunning are the volcanic cliffs and dazing lagoons. To visit this place, simply book a plane ride from Manila to Busuanga and take a van from the airport to Coron.  This charming island is a place that you don’t want truly to miss.

5.  Malapascua Island, Cebu

Diving is a favorite hobby of selected few who loves adventure and beach.  Malapascua Island in Cebu is a two and half hour to four hours ride or drive from Cebu City. Its quaint characteristics captivate the heart of real beach lovers. It’s a must-visit island for scuba divers.

6.  San Antontio, Zambales

San Antonio, Zambales is the home of marvelous white beaches in North Luzon. Its proximity from Metro Manila makes this town popular to local tourist.  After four hours of travel time, either by public or private transport, you could immediately enjoy the water, scenery and food in San Antontio, Zambales.

7.  Laiya, San Juan, Batangas

Laiya is one of the more popular destinations in Batangas.  This is a favorite getaway place to most companies in Metro Manila.  With its reasonable accommodation rate, no wonder that the area is always full of local tourists who want to escape the noise of the city and just enjoy the sound of the sea in San Juan.

8.  Siquijor, Siquijor

Forget about witchcraft and all other myths about this place.  Siquijor is a small island bordered by beautiful beaches and white sands.  This enchanting area can be reached through Dumaguete either via plane if from Manila and public bus if coming from Cebu, then a one-hour ferry ride to Siquijor.  If you’re up for a quiet and mysterious place, Siquijor is truly the location for you.

9.  Sipalay, Negros Occidental

Sipalay is a sleepy city in Negros Occidental. This undervalued area is dubbed as the New Boracay.  It has its own natural beauty and can be considered as paradise. Local and international tourists consider Sipalay a must-see destination.

10.  Subic Beach, Matnog, Sorsogon

Subic Beach is a pristine place located in Matnog, Sorsogon, Bicol Region.  It is popularly known now as the beach with pinkish sand.  To get there, it will take thirteen to fourteen hours drive or ride from Manila or one hour via plane to Legazpi City plus three hours travel time to Matnog. It may be a long drive or ride but we promise that it is worth the visit.
