“Satisfaction lies in the effort, not in the attainment, full effort is full victory.” –

The Philippine Statistics Authority released last July 2016 the country’s employment rate, which is at 94.6 percent that is higher by 0.7 percent as reported in April 2016.  By classifications, employed persons are categorized as Full Time workers if they are working for 40 hours or more during the reference week while Part Time workers are those individuals who work for less than 40 hours.  The current data on employed persons are reflected at 67.1 percent for full time workers and with an average working time of 42.7 hours per week.

After a short discussion with a few people, we decided to do a quick survey to find out what really make the workers stay in a company and why.  We wish to determine if there is a specific culture that they are considering and what are the important things that they are looking for in a company.  We find it challenging because when we informed the respondents that it would be published, some of them refused to answer our questions and others just requested not to include either their companies or real identity.  However, we believe that we got answers that reflect their sentiments.
